City Economic Growth Predicted Reaches 6.3 Percent

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama conveyed the opinion about general perspective of fractions towards 2016 Draft City Budget (RAPBD), Saturday (12/19).

Economic growth is in accordance with the getting better national and global economic which boost export performance in abroad and inter regional trading

In that occassion, Basuki mentioned the economic growth in 2016 predictably reaches 5.9-6.3 percent.

"Economic growth is in accordance with the getting better national and global economic which boost export performance in abroad and inter regional trading," said Basuki, at Jakarta City Council (DPRD) Building.

Basuki will Follow Government Regulation Determining UMP

Besides that, he continued, from domestic side economic growth is boosted from realization of budget of central and regional government. "Realization of budget also become a factor in the economic growth," he continued.

As for the inflation predictably reaches 4-4.4 percent. The controlled inflation level is obtained through the maintained citizens inflation expectations supported with relatively low external pressure.

"International comodity prices that predicted is still on lower level," he said.

The plenary meeting was purposely held on saturday, to accelerate discussion process by the council. On Basuki's leadership period, plenary meeting held on Saturday is the first time.
